Composite Audio and Video Extender 2 Port Splitter
The SB-6235 is a very unique device which allows users to extend composite AV signals and split them simultaneously! With this device, users can extend the video and audio signal from any composite device (DVD player, VHS player, video game system, etc.) up to 1000 feet, and display that signal on two separate screens simultaneously! The composite AV extender/splitter consists of two units: the transmitter and the receiver.
Composite AV Extender/ Splitter Transmitter
The transmitter unit connects locally to the device that you wish to extend and split. Also known as the SB-6235, the transmitter has an input port for component RCA audio and video. It also has two CAT5 outputs, for running UTP cables to remote units (up to 1000 feet).
Composite AV Extender/ Splitter Receiver
Along with the transmitter, a receiver unit is necessary for extension. The SB-6235R is placed at the end of the extending CAT5 cables and connects to the remote displays, which are located up to 1000 feet away from the transmitter and signal source. If you wish to split the signal, one receiver is necessary for each remote display. The receiver units are composed of an output for RCA component video and audio. There is a CAT5 input for the extending cable. There is also a loop output connector so users can cascade multiple receivers and distribute the signal to more then two displays!
