The SB-6310 allows users to extend video and split it simultaneously. The SB-6310 consists of a transmitter and receiver unit. They're connected via CAT5/CAT6 UTP cables allowing for secure extension up to 1000 feet away. The SB-6310 is unique because the transmitter allows you to extend the signal to four different remote displays. At the displays, the SB-6310R, the receiver, has a dual VGA and stereo output for twice the splitting!
VGA Video Extender / 2 Port Splitter Transmitter
The transmitter unit of the SB-6310 consists of a VGA and stereo audio input that connect to the device you wish to extend or split. On the rear of the device are 4 CAT5/CAT6 UTP outputs for extension cable connection.
VGA Video Extender / 2 Port Splitter Receiver
The receiver portion or, SB-6310R, is very similar to the transmitter. It has two VGA and stereo audio outputs to connect to the remote displays. The receiver not only allows splitting from the transmitter, but it also allows you to use two remote displays per receiver! It also features a CAT5/CAT6 input for connection from the transmitter. Right next to the input there's a loop output port which allows users to cascade receiver units and split the video on to more displays!
