8X32 & 16X64 VGA KVM Switch Matrix
The PRIMUX KVM Switch Matrix by NTI is available in two models: the PRIMUX-8X32 and PRIMUX-16X64. The PRIMUX-8X32 is an 8 user, 32 port matrix KVM switch. The PRIMUX-16X64 is a 16 user, 64 port matrix KVM switch. Servers are connected to the KVM switch using CAT5 cables and server adapters. The PRIMUX Matrix KVM Switch is compatible with PS2, USB, Serial and SUN servers. Each server will require some sort of adapter to connect to the CAT5 cable: HA-UNV (PS2/USB adapter), HA-SUN (SUN adapter), or HA-RS (Serial adapter). For local user control, a user station must be connected to the local keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The PRIMUX-UZR connects to the matrix KVM switch via CAT5 and features connectivity for SUN/USB/PS2 peripherals, serial devices, and a VGA monitor. One PRIMUX-UZR user station is required for each user that will accessing the connected servers. With this system, networking is made easy by allowing up to 16 users to access as many as 64 servers. With the use of CAT5 cables the servers, user stations, and switch can be up to 1000 feet apart.
PRIMUX-8X32 and PRIMUX-16X64 feature an intuitive OSD (on screen display) that allows for easy selection between servers. All servers are individually named/indexed. Users can be added and removed. Each user has an individual user name and password which is monitored by the admin user.
