SmartAVI's DVX-3500 extends DVI video and USB peripherals up to 30,000 feet from the source. The DVX-3500 consists of a transmitter and receiver unit. The transmitter unit is connected locally to the computer or device that you wish to extend. A single mode fiber cable is run from the transmitter to the receiver. At the receiver there is a DVI output for video and USB outputs for keyboard and mouse. Those outputs connect to the remote display and peripherals.
