The Avocent SwitchView family brings you the 4 (4SV1000-001), 8 (8SV1000-001), and 16 (16SV1000-001) port SwitchView KVM Switches with multi-platform support for USB and PS2 servers. The KVM Switches support a VGA video display and both PS2 and USB keyboard/mouse peripherals (depending on which keyboard/mouse type you have). A single user can control up to 16 servers with the 16SV1000-001. The 4SV1000-001 gives user control of up to 4 servers and the 8SV1000-001 controls up to 8. All of the devices have On-Screen Display (OSD) features that make managing and controlling servers very simple. These are rack-based appliances for easy server room management. They support VGA monitor at a resolution reaching as high as 2048 x 1536. Also, the KVM Switches have a password protection feature to enhance security and prevent unwanted users. The upgradeable firmware keeps the software renewed and up to date! The 4SV1000-001, 8SV1000-001, and 16SV1000-001 fit comfortably into just 1U of rack space, providing a space saving; affordable server management solution.
