SmartAVI's fiber optic DVI extender, or DVX-2500S, allows users to extend DVI video signals and PS2 mice and keyboards up to 30,000 feet away from the source using single mode fiber optical cables. This DVI extender supports a max resolution of 1600 x 1200 and adjusts for pixilation/degradation. It's compatible with PS2 keyboards and mice.

The DVX-2500S package consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit, so you do not need to purchase either of them separately. The transmitter connects locally to the DVI video display and PS2 keyboard and mouse computer you wish to extend. A fiber optic wire is run up to 30,000 feet away from the transmitter and connects to the remote receiver. The remote receiver features DVI and PS2 outputs to connect to the remote display and peripherals.
