The Xtensys CAT5 KVM Switches by Rose Electronics provide one of the most comprehensive CAT5 solutions for network management. Fully automatic with Plug-N-Play features, the Xtensys system CAT5 KVM switch automatically detects devices plugged into the RJ45 ports, while automatically adjusting gain control and equalizing video!

Available in 0-16 user models with 1-64 computer ports, these CAT5 KVM switches connect to any Rose User Station or extender to optimize use of your network. Compatible with any type of peripheral - USB, PS2, SUN, Unix, Mac or serial - these switches can hook up to any computer and provide access through intuitive on screen display features. A maximum video resolution of 1920 x 1440 is supported.

The Xtensys system works in the following manner: on the user side a KVM user station is connected, allowing access to any computer, the user station connects a remote KVM station to a KVM port on the Xtensys switch, granting access to the computers connected to the user station. Through cascading and daisy chaining, these KVM switches can control up to 1000 computers.
