The DVX-500S is a KVM extender for PS2 keyboards and mice, and DVI video displays. The extender consists of a transmitter and receiver unit. The transmitter is connected locally while a CAT5/CAT6 UTP cable is run to the receiver. The receiver is connected to a display, keyboard, and mouse that the user wishes to extend to.

The DVX-500S allows for long distance video transmission, without any loss of quality! The 1600 x 1200 high resolution display is maintained throughout extension with the DVI KVM extender.

Both units are small in size and can be easily hidden to save you space. Although there are not VGA ports, a converter can be used to connect VGA devices because the DVX-500S supports VGA and DVI video cards. The DVX-500S is also compatible with USB and SUN devices, making it one of the most versatile video and KVM extender products on the market today!
