USB KVM Switch
The CS1708 & CS1716 are MasterView USB KVM Switches manufactured by ATEN. This model in their MasterView series comes in an 8 and 16 port model. CS1708 and CS1716 are primarily used to control multiple computers (as many as 16) from a single console. With the use of daisy chain techniques these MasterView USB KVM Switches can be connected with an additional 31 switches - increasing the number of computers that can be controlled from 16 to 512. To monitor and access each computer the KVM switch comes preinstalled with an intuitive OSD (On Screen Display), and with the use of hot keys and hot pluggability the user can easily switch between which computer they're operating.
On the front of each unit there are seven LED indicators that make it easy to identify where each station is located. An additional auto scan feature comes standard, so the switch automatically recognizes the position of each station on the chain. The CS1708 & CS1716 support high quality video resolution of 2048 x 1536.
