ATEN's CE700 is a CAT5 USB KVM Extender designed to work with USB computers. It allows for KVM extension up to 500 feet away and provides access to a remote computer via USB. Extension between local and remote units is done over CAT5 cables, making installation easy, neat, inexpensive and very durable. Along with providing a less expensive solution for long distance data transmission, the CE700 has an auto gain adjusting feature that prevents any loss of quality and increases the overall reliability of the setup. The unit also employs a plug-n-play feature, meaning no additional software or programming is necessary. CE700 can be used along with a USB KVM Switch in order to control multiple USB keyboards, mice and VGA displays.
