8, 16 Port PS2 KVM Switch

The ACS1208A & ACS1216A are high density PS2 KVM switches with either 8 or 16 ports. They give the user the ability to control as many as 16 PS2 servers or computers (PS2 keyboard, PS2 mouse and monitor) consoles from a single unit. The user has the ability to connect an additional 31 consoles through daisy chaining. If the daisy chaining technique is used, network administrators can have access to a maximum of 512 servers from one master console.

The devices have typical KVM switch features such as OSD (On Screen Display) and hot keys, which make switching and distinguishing between units very easy. Using the on screen display two levels of access are granted: user & administrator. This PS2 KVM switch gives the administrator the choice of assigning which user can access which console on a port by port basis. In total, 1 administrator and 4 users can be identified. The 16 port device is also available as a kit with eight 6' cables and eight 10' cables.
