The CL5708 and CL5716 are state of the art LCD monitor and KVM switch combinations. If using the 8 Port PS2 or USB KVM Switch , the user immediately has control of up to 8 separate computers, and with the use of daisy chaining an additional 31 KVM switches, the user increases their control to 256 individual units. The same applies with the 16 port switch (CL5716), however the user can control as many as 512 computers.
Using the dual interface keyboard and mouse technology that is standard with the KVM switch, users can mix and match which type of peripheral they will use. For example, you could set up 4 PS2 computers and 4 USB computers on one switch, or mix and match however you'd like depending on your circumstances. Not to mention, the switch was developed with multi operating system support, functioning with Windows, Sun, Mac, Linux, Unix, Netware, AIX and DOS.
