CAT5 Matrix KVM Switch
The DX Matrix System is a multiuser networking management device, that grants access to multiple computers on one station. Ideal for dense server room environments, this KVM switch can control up to 32 servers or computers directly. It is also cascadable, so if need be, it can be connected to multiple switches and hundreds of computers can be controlled!
The DX System is available in two models: 4 user (0SU60001A) and 8 use r(0SU60002A). With Minicom's newly developed technology, users have the ability to control their KVM switches, serial devices and power management through one system. The programming is called Advanced Integrated Management (AIM) and was developed with a user interface similar to Windows. BIOS level access and point-and-click KVM control are provided through this software.
User viewing is fully transparent, and when devices are cascaded for further server access, users are guarenteed personal access to any server the wish to monitor.
The DX System is secured by user name and password authentication. There are four levels of user access, and 32 users per switch.
This matrix KVM switch is fully compatible with Minicom's DXU IP devices. With these devices in use, users can control and monitor servers from any location over LAN, WAN and internet access. The IP solution can be centrally managed by Minicom's KVM.net II management solution.
An additional user station can be purchase, unit 0SU60003A to add additional users to the matrix KVM switch.
