CAT5 KVM over IP Switch
The 0SU70036A and 0SU70037A are Minicom's Smart 216 IP and Smart 232 IP KVM switches, respectively. Implementing these devices in your server room or data center, can greatly increase the efficiency of your network. With these IP KVM Switches, two users can access either 16 or 32 computers (or servers) remotely over an IP network. This gives IT managers the ability to work from any point on the planet, as long as they have an internet connection. At the same time, a local user can operate all of the connected servers as well.
The switches are mountable in just 1U of rack space and are connected to servers and RICC's using CAT5 cables. With the use of these inexpensive; highly reliable cables, the 0SU70036A or 0SU70037A switch can be located up to 100 feet away from the servers.
