The XT-TX1600S is an enterprise video splitter extender. It has 16 CAT5 ports to extend VGA/UXGA/XGA/SXGA video, Serial RS232, Infrared, and audio. The device can also serve as a splitter. With unshielded CAT5/CAT6 cables, IT managers can extend and split video without worrying about hindering quality. This is the highest capacity video extender/splitter on the market. With it's 16 ports, they have a versatile range of applications. Different information can be broadcasted to different screens, making the XT-TX1600S the perfect device for digital signage. The RS232 serial port gives users the capability of incorporating serial devices like PDAs, printers, and touch screens into the extension.

The XT-TX1600S is a transmitter device. It connects to the local source devices. For each output port (16 available) you need a receiver (XTPRO-RX) unit. The receivers connect to the output VGA displays, serial devices, infrared controllers, and audio speakers! The maximum resolution output is 1900 x 1200.
