The ACU1002A is a CAT5 KVM Extender with serial extension, which allows the user to place a VGA display, PS2 keyboard & PS2 mouse up to 1000 feet away from the source computer. Extension between the transmitting and receiving unit is done over CAT5 ethernet cable. Resolution quality depends on length of transmission, at 200 feet resolution is 1600 x 1280, at 300 feet resolution is 1280 x 1024 and at 1000 feet resolution drops to 1024 x 768. Along with PS2 and VGA extension, this device features a port for serial peripherals.
