The HDC-VXS is a point-to-point extender for composite video and stereo audio. It also features a port for extending an InfraRed device. You can extend your composite video device or IR remote up to 1000 feet with this point-to-point extender! The unit comes with a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter is connected locally to the composite video and stereo audio source or IR device. A CAT5 cable is run up to 1000 feet to a remote receiver. The remote receiver of the HDC-VXS connects to the display and audio output or IR device that you wish to extend to! It's very easy to use and features plug-n-play set up.
