The XTPROS is a video extender that also extends serial, stereo, and IR devices. It's designed for VGA/UGXA/XGA devices and supports a resolution of 1900 x 1200. Using the XTPROS allows you to extend any local display, serial device, IR, and stereo audio source up to 1000 feet. Extension is done over CAT5/CAT6 UTP cable. The XTPROS consists of two separate devices, which can be purchased separately:

• XTP-TXS
  The transmitter, or XTP-TXS, is the device that connects locally to whatever it is that you want to extend. On the XTP-TXS you will find 2 VGA videos ports, 2 stereo audio ports, 2 IR ports, and 2 serial RS232 ports. These ports allow you to connect the devices that you wish to extend. The XTP-TXS also features two CAT5/CAT6 Ethernet ports so you can run a CAT5/CAT6 cable to the remote receiver. Since the transmitter features two Ethernet outputs, you can extend and split the video simultaneously.
• XTP-RXS
  The receiver unit, or XTP-RXS, connects to the remote devices that you wish to extend to. It has outputs for VGA, RS232, IR, and stereo audio. One XTP-RXS is needed for each display that you will extend to.
